A Western Style Day Camp...

Our camp is for horse loving children ages 8-16! Six exclusive weeks during the summer, our day camps focus on real horse ownership, horsemanship, skill development, self-confidence, and self-achievement. We are so proud to offer these exclusive kids camps (we're first in the world by the way to offer them using only horses rescued from slaughter), where we teach children horsemanship, the values of freedom and ethics of the western lifestyle!

Campers will arrive daily M-F at 9:00am, camp ends promptly at 3:00pm, with exception of Friday, the last camp day. Campers will put on a Rodeo for parents/friends 3:00pm Friday afternoon to show off their newly learned skills and camp friends.

Each camper is assigned their own horse on Camp Day 1, with which they will work towards a skill goal all week. Skill goals include trail riding, barrel racing, key hole, or poles. Skill will be chosen collectively by Camp Keepers, Camper, and ability of their assigned horse. Each of these skills helps develop and showcase what each camper and their horse have achieved together all week.

Daily camp activities include grooming horses, learning what it takes to own a horse, basic parts of the saddle/bridle, speaking/self development/showmanship, trail riding on our 150 acre ranch, a splashing/swimming trip to the pond, learning and honing a skill with your horse, practice for skill showcase rodeo on Friday, friendship, laughter, and of course all the horses horses horses any kid could want!
